These Terms are an agreement between you and Hanza Games, an independent game developer (“we”, “us”), for playing Atropion: Space War Strategy (“Atropion”, “the game”) and using our website and support (together, “the Services”). By installing or playing the game you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may play only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
2. Atropion is in testing
Atropion is in active development and testing. Features, balance, content and rules will change, sometimes without notice. To keep the game healthy during testing we may need to reset game data, including your colony, resources and progress. Test builds may contain bugs; please report them to us.
3. Your account
The game creates a guest account linked to your device and installation. Keep your device secure — anyone using it can play your account. While testing, a new device or a factory reset may start a new account, and we cannot always restore a lost one. You may not sell, trade or transfer your account. Choose a commander name that is not offensive, misleading or someone else’s name or trademark; we may change names that break this rule.
4. Your licence to play
We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the game for your own non-commercial entertainment. We (and our licensors) keep all rights in the game, including its software, art, music, text, names and logos.
5. Virtual items and currency
The game contains virtual items and in-game currencies such as Regolith and Helion. They have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value, and cannot be transferred outside the game. You receive a licence to use them in the game, not ownership. We may change, rebalance or remove virtual items as the game evolves.
Atropion currently has no real-money purchases. If we add them, they will be sold through Google Play under Google Play’s terms, will only save time and will never buy power. Purchases will be final except where Google Play’s refund policy or the law of your country gives you a right to a refund.
6. Fair play
To keep Atropion fair for everyone, you agree not to:
- use cheats, hacks, bots, automation, modified game clients or any software that interferes with the game;
- exploit bugs or errors — report them to us instead;
- access or attack our servers, or other players’ accounts, without permission;
- harass, threaten or abuse others, or use hateful or illegal names or content;
- sell, buy or trade accounts or virtual items for real money;
- reverse engineer the game except where the law expressly allows it.
Game rules are enforced on our servers. Actions that break them may be rejected or reversed.
7. Other commanders
The world of Atropion is shared by commanders controlled by other players and commanders controlled by the game itself. Both kinds of commanders play by the same rules and use the same information.
8. Suspension and termination
We may warn you, limit features, suspend or close your account, or remove progress gained unfairly, if you break these Terms or put other players or the Services at risk. You can stop playing and ask us to delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy).
9. Feedback
We love ideas. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them freely to improve our games, without obligation to you.
10. Availability and changes
The game needs an internet connection and our servers. We work to keep them running, but the Services may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond our control. We may change or stop parts of the Services; if we decide to shut down Atropion, we will try to give reasonable notice.
11. Disclaimer
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, especially while in testing. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or meet your expectations.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of virtual items, progress or data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring claims in the courts of that country where the law allows.
14. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the game develops. We will change the effective date above and, for important changes, let you know in the game or on this website. If you keep playing after a change, the updated Terms apply.
